Legal Compliance
Compliance or regulatory compliance is the obligation of a company to establish adequate procedures to ensure that executives, employees, and other related agents comply with current regulations. To achieve this, it is necessary to identify and classify the legal risks they face and establish mechanisms for prevention, management, control and response.
Compliance impacts areas such as data protection, non-financial information, trade secrets, criminal, labour, tax, accounting, etc., all regulated by different laws and regulations.
Compliance
At RIBA-VIDAL Abogados, we provide legal advice for the implementation of Crime Prevention Models within the company.
We design a tailored Prevention Model for each of our clients, avoiding standard models applied generically.
Drawing from over twenty years of experience in criminal litigation, we apply this knowledge to perform a specific risk assessment, legally evaluating how the company’s activities may be impacted based on the legal content of each criminal offence and how it is applied on a daily basis by our courts.
At Riba Vidal, we take care of:
- 1. Implementation
We implement all necessary measures to prevent the commission of crimes within the company.
- 2. Monitoring
At RIBA-VIDAL Abogados, we not only implement the model but also offer the possibility of monitoring the implemented model, proposing necessary updates.
- 3. Advice
We stay in contact with the Compliance Officer and provide legal advice on specific aspects of the Model to enhance it, combining their knowledge of the company together with our day-to-day business advising and litigation experience
- 4. Training
As part of our monitoring services, we provide ongoing training to both executives and employees on legislative updates applicable to their fields of work, addressing any necessary queries and informing the company of the most relevant legislative updates.
